KUALA LUMPUR – APAS state assemblyman Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan has urged the Sabah state government to improve the delivery system of ‘one-off’ financial assistance to the people.
He highlighted this matter at the end of Sabah state assembly gathering. According to his Facebook posting, it is important that we improve the deliverance of financial assistance directly to the people without any hassle and confusion.
At the same time, he urged the state government to give more attention and assistance to ‘homeless’ people found in the city area. It is wise we gather them at a place to provide the necessary and also undergo a COVID-19 checking for them.
On the other hand, he opinioned that Federal Development department (Jabatan Pembangunan Persekutuan) has to be formed as proposed by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Sabah.
“By having the department it will assist for better governance and smooth implementation of programs and development from the Federal government.
“The establishment of JPPS has nothing to do with the accusation of giving up Sabah’s rights to Federal,” said Nizam who is also the Chief of Tawau PPBM.
