KUALA LUMPUR: Sukma (Malaysia Games) that was supposed to take place from July 11-19 in Johor has been postponed to next year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new dates will be March 6 to 14, 2021, and followed by Para Sukma games on April 5 to 10, 2021.
Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican after chairing a special committee meeting announced this decision.
However, Sukma Johor 2020 name branding will remain the same.
It is the first time the Games have been rescheduled since its inception in 1986.
